A classic German wheat beer, bursting with foam bananas followed by a soft and fruity finish.

Pours a hazy light yellow with fluffy head.

Smell is crisp, fruity and yeasty, Notes of banana candy, citrus and dried fruit with some spicy hints.

Taste is crisp, fruity and yeasty with some floral hints. Notes of citrus, banana candy and melon. Soft bitterness with a bit of spice on the finish. Very drinkable.

Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific, drinkable Weisse.

Bought from Mikkeller & Friends Copenhagen Norreport bottle shop.
My first from Cloudwater. How prolific they are ! BA lists 520 Active and UnTappd lists 628... Not bad for a 10 year old.
For the rest of my micro-review, I'd have to say that Cloudwater doesn't distinguish themselves in too many other areas, just prolific. But I still give them decent Overall Hugs because they've done a lot in ten years. (Maybe push on sustainability in the next decade. Can't hurt.)

Weisse has a foam with a hard pour, but goes away quickly; indicating the yeast does not continue to be active. The fruit punch aromas are moderate, which is important because too many novice hefes get goofy with the fruits. Tastes are balanced; using just enough hops to keep the fruits in check. A little light in my mouth.
