my first from these guys, this is a blueberry wheat beer with a pretty color but an unrefined looking dull cloudiness and density. it smells great though, natural on the fruit with a unique little tartness to it, not sure if intentionally soured a bit, or if its tang and tannins from the blueberries themselves, but either way, it works! there is a lot of wheat malt to this, which keeps the fruit from just turning this into juice, its very much still a beer, especially with what i perceive to be a bit of fermentation character. in addition to the crackery earthy wheat and the obvious natural blueberry, i also get light lemon, cranberry, and jammy blackberry to this, just other sides of the blueberry i suppose, and then an almost saison ester right in the middle. its relatively complex as these sort of things go, not just a generic wheat beer base with some puree added, at least thats not how it presents itself to my palate, a bit more nuanced than that for sure. the slightly tart finish makes it almost refreshing and drinkable for how kind of unpolished and rough around the edges the rest of it is. cool beer, tons of blueberry flavor, but doesnt really tell me much about what kind of quality beer these guys are capable of. ill keep an eye out for more of their stuff when i travel up that way next month!

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a dirty brown color with 1/3 inch of white head that low retention and light lacing.
The aroma was blueberries upfront, with some very light grain in the background.
Same on the tongue, berry dominant, light grain foundation.
The body was light, smooth, and crisp, with a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was fine, I could see drinking a few of these during the warm weather.
Overall, a pleasant enough brew.

Look: hazy golden yellow orange. 2 finger white head. highly carbonated. Had to pour really slow.
Smell: blueberry dominates. biscuit, honey, lemon.
Taste: Blueberry, dominated like the smell. Some strange flavor, like a funky plastic. Some lemon. Some coriander, spicy finish as it warmed.
Feel: Carbonated, fizzy mouth feel. A bit dry.
Overall: Blueberry dies down the deeper into the beer making it more enjoyable.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 5/4/17.
Appearance: amber-orange hue with a moderate haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. It's attractive.
Smell: subtly wheaty with some tartish blueberry character. It's pretty good, but the blueberry just seems ... artificial or something.
Taste: wheaty and malty with a good level of sweetness. The blueberry here seems a little bit more natural, in a blueberry muffin kind of a way. It's not bad if fruit beers are your thing.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not a bad beer. The aroma seems a bit artificial, but otherwise this beer is completely as-advertised.

Pours hazy red-orange with pillowy white head. Fruity blueberry, floral, and grainy aromas. Some toasted malt aroma. Sweet blueberry flavor that blends into light, woody and citrus zest hop flavor. Body is creamy with medium carbonation; light bitterness that lingers at the end.

Filled a growler in Bend, Oregon.
Fruity smell follows through to nice fresh fruity taste. Prominent berry flavor, but not over-powering. Nicely balanced and refreshing brew for a hot afternoon.
