The Stout is a dark beer, strong and assertive. The malts used add depth of flavor with hints of chocolate and caramel balanced by a piney hop flavor.

A: The beer is essentially jet black in color—only slight traces of brown are visible near the edges of the glass when held up to a bright light. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down, leaving some wisps of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark and chocolate malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very much dominated by the malts with flavors of dark and chocolate malts and a slight bit of roast. Although only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible, the underlying hops mostly to serve to mask any possible sweetness from the malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout has some nice flavors from the malts.
