Actually, Surprised by the rating here. In fact I really like this beer, its taste and smell. Its unfiltered. I feel healthy when drinking it. So organic!

On tap at the Heather Curling Club. FYI this is also a 'cheap' beer that can be had in plastic bottles for next to nothing (by Canadian standards)

A: The normal lager. Clear straw yellow with a light white fizzy head that does not retain.
S: Corn, grains. Not much else in there. Like a bud.
T: Thin, watery and a bit of vegetal & corn
M: Overcarbonated and prickly. Did I mention a bit watery?
O: A standard adjunct lager. Nothing else. That said I preferred it over Dragon Stout today, because at least I knew what I was getting into as we got the pitcher...

Came as part of a sample of brews 12 pak. On a recent trip to Winnipeg we decided to pay the price and buy a $22.00 12 pak. Back here in Minnesota you wouldn't pay much more than $10.00 for the same type of beer. Very, very dissapointed in this and the other three brews in the box. The dark was the only one really worth anything. Just down right dissapointed- I can't really say more

I haven't had this beer in awhile (thankfully), but had to purchase some Fort Garry in a sample pack for trading purposes. Smells and tastes like pretty much all other canadian adjunct lagers. No hops that I can tell and is actually more of a vegetable stew than I remember. Grainy rotten aftertaste. Best consumed on a golf course or after some outdoor activity and you want something wet. that's about it.

I'm embarassed to say that this beer is made in my home town. The "Two Rivers" name refers to the Red and Assiniboine rivers which cross eachother in downtown Winnipeg. The beer is a deeper gold colour than most macro American Standards. There's not much to speak of as far as aroma goes... perhaps a bit of corn and sulfur. Flavor wise, it tastes like sweet corn water. Meduim carbonation, and no hop taste at all. YUCK! One to avoid.

Had this on Tap at Cousin's Deli, WPG. Fort Garry Brewery bought out Two Rivers and now produces all their beers.

Average looking lager, darker yellow, pours with a small head that leaves little lacing and dosen't last long. Smell is a little off putting, corn malt and a slight hoppy sweetness. not too exciting. Oddly enough the first sip is the worst.... I forgot about the initial corn skunkiness after a few sips, and actually began to enjoy it a bit more. Hop sweetness in the background. Not a complex lager, but few are. Mouthfeel is a bit on the soft side for my taste. Carbonation isn't too exciting either. This is no more than an average offering from Fort Garry, but makes an OK session lager.,
