Copenhagen 30/7 2020. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Lic Beer projects usual design with a dark can with a flash and a guy in a suit walking into a golden splotch (just as confusing as it sounds).
Pours unclear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet odor of malts, decayed fruit and alcohol mingling with citric notes. Mango and papaya. Fermentation and alcohol. Citrus and grape fruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Rather thin and oily. Lively and tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Intense IPA with it's own fermented charm and a decent bitterness.

Old can here - bought this a while ago and finally got around to it tonight. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about this beer even though it was unoffensive and went down pretty easily. Soft as an IPA gets, this could have used more bitterness, flavors, and booze to turn it up a notch and give me something to proverbially chew on...
As it as, the pour was decent - golden, cloudy, and muted. Tons of lacing topped this off as I worked my way through this. Lots of grass, lemon, light citrus, pepper, and yeast in the nose but the notes were somewhat muted. A bit of spice, dank tropical notes, and cereal came through in the taste with a fair amount of carbonation and no real heavy-duty body to speak of. Moderately slick, this went down effortlessly and hardly left any aftertaste; which was quite odd given how many brews from these parts are the exact opposite way!
The amount of alcohol in here was right as I couldn't feel it and there wasn't any warming sensation to be felt once I finished this off. While not a bad beer, the voluminous rings of lacing left on the side of my pint glass were by far the best aspect of this. Dated 5/30 of last year with TIGER WOODS written underneath that, this was worth a go once for something unassuming and relatively plain...

Had it on tap at George Keeley, NYC.
Pours a cloudy golden straw color, with a touch of orange. A modest frothy head soon dissipates but shows a patchy film and lacing.
Big juicy aroma of apricot, peach, mango and citrus. A touch of grass and bready malt is subtle and in the background.
Juicy and sweet overall, both on the tip of the tongue and in the mid palate. The hops impart tropical and citrus flavors, yet little to no bitterness. The finish is dry with a modest amount of pine resin.
Medium bodied and smooth. The carbonation is low and gentle. Fruity and juicy; the low bitterness implied an NEIPA.
I enjoy LIC Beer Project brews, however, I could have used a bit more bitterness from this one.

Had a sample from a fresh keg at my local beverage outlet. Bought a 64 ounce growler based on that taste.
Pours a gorgeous golden straw that's perfectly translucent. Fluffy white head with spidery lacing lingers on the glass. Aromas of juicy citrusy hops, with a tinge of pine, and just a hint of je ne sais quois. Taste is a burst of those same aromas. Feels almost like there's some nitrous mixed in the bubbles, with its creamy consistency. Overall, my theory that LIC can not make a bad beer has yet to be disproven.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy light yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells candied citrusy hops, sweet, but with a dryness on the finish. There's no malt character here.
This is pretty solid, like most hoppy stuff from these guys. It's a bit sweet, with not much lingering bitterness, but the juicy hop character is fantastic- candied and delightful.
This is lighter bodied, juicy and fairly clean, with a good level of carbonation.
LIC Beer Project is definitely good at making one type of IPA well. Their IPAs are a bit samey, but still very delicious.

Can from the brewery in LIC, Queens, NY. Hazy light orange with fluffy white head and generous lacing, smells like candied hops with a hint of spicy dankness, taste follows the nose with sweet citrus and tropical fruit up front finishing with a biting dank spiciness thank lingers. This beer is light bodied with and a mild dry finish. A pleasantly juicy and dank IPA, another excellent offering from LIC.
