Bought this a while ago, finally getting around to the last one of these in my stash tonight. Love both of the brewers that were involved in this collaboration and even though this wasn't new, it held up well since it's release over a year ago. While not the best that either had to offer, I did enjoy this from the get-go as it was full, full-flavored, and easy to quaff down to the last sip!
Good pour to this as the liquid was a hazy goldenrod with plenty of head to top it off and a good, rocky amount of lacing on the top of my pint glass. Waves of it cascaded down from there to the point where it nearly covered up half of the surface area. Lots of dank and ripe tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, and apricot in the nose with a ton of earthy hops in the mix as well. Blueberry juice, thick pineapple, and waxiness came in once I gave this a sip as this was a slow sipper. A faint but strong burn lasted until the end of my session as the hops made themselves felt and never fully backed off. Not much carbonation here but what was present was nearly enough to keep this from feeling too heavy.
Yes, there was booze here and I could feel it warming me up well before I finished this off. Dated 6/14 of last year with "STILL SHININ'" written below it, this held up well for being unintentionally aged and combined the hops and fruit profiles of both of it's collaborators quite nicely. A bit too heavy to be truly great, I enjoyed this for what it was worth - an IPA that epitomizes what New York City is currently cranking out. Worth a go for fans of either of these guys...

Pours yellow / light orange l, hazy with white frothy head. Looks like orange juice.
Aroma has lots of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, peach, lemon, floral,
Taste is very fruity, ripe mango and peaches, heavily hopped, pine, dank, bitter grapefruit in the finish, and with that classic other half bite, smooth.

Nice pale orange. Nice berry notes on the nose and taste. Has more of an OH vibe to it than LIC, but excellent collab. Have had 8 of these over the last two months and hasn't fallen off. One of my favorites I've had this summer.

On-draught @ a bar in Brooklyn. $9 plus tip.
Orange juice pulp, mild bitterness, surprisingly high acidity, pale malts.

L-Pours a hazy straw yellow with a big 2 inch head and great retention and heavy lacing that sits on the side of the glass forever
S-Big aroma of tropical citrus hops......lemon-lime, mango, papaya, grapefruit, orange
T-Sweet apricot, lemon-lime, orange, mango......similar to the nose.......very smooth, limited bitterness,.........some juicyfruit gum........sweet, clean finish, with a touch of lingering bitterness
F-Rich, creamy, limited carbonation and bitterness..........smooth.........very drinkable, alcohol almost undetectable.
O-very good, very drinkable, great combination of hops that really shine without overwhelming the brew.......well done and hope this gets brewed again
