Friends! Come join us around the vernal campfire. Sweet honey graham crackers harmoniously unite with softly bitter cocoa nibs. The light aroma of marshmallows toasted on an open fire lingers on the finish. Throughout, the velvety texture lends a sense of luxury, even on the trail.

Color is motor oil black
Smell is graham cracker and marshmallow, faint caramel as well
Taste follows the nose with some vanilla kicked in. Minimal alcohol burn..nice
Low carbonation
Medium body mouthfeel here..not very sweet either

On tap. Served in an 8 oz glass. Cost $12 before tax & tip. I've had a lot of beers, both good & bad, but $24 a pint....? I'm a big Firestone Walker fan & those get pretty pricey, but they are barrel aged & it shows. When I questioned the bill, I was offered "well, it's 10%".
I guess I'm getting old & it's time to find a different watering hole, because this whole experience has left a bitter taste.
As for the stout? Caveat emptor.
