Picked this up a few weeks ago as this was the ninth iteration of All Together that I was able to get my hands on. Hadn't been to LIC in ages, although they're quite close to where I work(ed) out of in Brooklyn, but this was worth getting my hands on as it was a nice, solid beer that went down easily and smoothly while reminding me of what I missed all this time!
Interesting pour to this as the liquid was much more muted and milkier than I expected, especially after having an All Together every night over the last week! Melon in hue, this had a sufficient but quiet head top it off as only a thin ring of lacing remained about a quarter of the way down the side of my pint glass. Lots of melon dankness, dry lime, deep and dewy forest, and citrus pith in the varied nose as the taste followed suit. Some oats could be felt here but this was a tropical and stone-fruit forward beer that it didn't feel as full as I anticipated. Not a lot of carbonation to this but there was enough to keep this light as the aftertaste was very dank and moderately slick, with a hint of burn keeping this down more than I would have liked.
Of course, the alcohol was on par with most of the other All Together offerings as the 6.5% was barely noticeable, and there wasn't any sediment suspended in the liquid or at the bottom when I finished this off. The date on the bottom of the can was smudged but this was fresh and felt it, even though this beer could have used a few tweaks. A bit of mint and more forest lingered on my breath as they saved the day and had me wondering what could have been, had this had a second release...
