Moderate pour fills close to half a pint glass, creamy off-white hue tinted yellow, very good retention. Full apricot juice appearance in the glass. A strong graininess creates counterpoint in the nose to the vanilla cream and rich papaya, mango fruit scents, the herbaceous dankness grows as it warms, overall too dense for a lot of scent separation. Full-bodied with fluffy carbonation. Dry in texture, good amount of residue after the finish. Succulent melon, mango, apricot fruit topped off by that strong vanillin element. The naval orange to mandarin orange citrus not that tart. Undercurrent of pine. Neither all that clean nor stanky. Sometimes it creates the opposite effect but here the creaminess helps to add flow and relieve some more inert heaviness. Likable but still falls into the “one and done” category, minimal crushability. (No canning date, brewery please date your product)
