Huge three finger of pink foam, retention decent for the beer style, very wispy lacing. The liquid clear on the whole, watermelon pink in hue, filled nicely with dispersed bubbles, has almost a metallic sheen. Large berry presence in the nose but to me mixed berry, nothing specific, vanilla bean to cola notes, astringent lemon, slightly vinous character, cracker, direct but not to the point of terseness. In the mouth starts out light, carbonated prickle keeps it on its toes and once that has dissipated it gets heavier. Much stronger pie crust element here, almost wills more sweetness into the berry flavors. The lemon wields a wicked sharp knife. Retains that cola to mint nuance. Nice reverb clench at the end. Like this. (No canning date)
