Pitch black with a well retaining creamy head.
The nose has a pleasant creamy sweetness along with good roasty qualities. Aromas of milk and dark chocolate, coffee bean, coconut, dark toasted malts, caramel and nutty malts.
Sweet overall with flavors of chocolate, coffee, coconut, vanilla, dark caramel, biscuit and creamy malts. However, there is a touch of earthy and woodsy hops bitterness for balance, along with minty and sweet grassy flavors. The finish is smooth and creamy.
Medium to full bodied. The mouthfeel reminds me of Guinness; light drinking but full. Smooth, creamy and velvety with a gentle carbonation.
Fantastic little stout. Very easy to drink.
