Pours a semi hazy straw color. A large head retains remarkably well.
The nose opens with notes of grain, lemongrass and earthy hops. A sweet aroma develops, displaying notes of biscuit, cracker and fruity/floral spices.
In the taste, notes of bready malts, crispy cracker and biscuit are complimented by hops flavors. Well hopped with bright notes of lemon, grass, and is earthy and floral. Bitterness is gentle.
Medium bodied with a gently crisp mouthfeel. Finishes short, crisp and clean.
This interpretation of a Czech Pilsner has a bit more hops flavors than the tradition. Not my favorite example, however, it's easy drinking and pleasant.
