Brewed with a majority of Malted Wheat and fermented at higher temperature with a traditional Hefeweizen yeast and Bittermens A Very Friendly and Cordial Lime all natural cocktail syrup.

This beer is a hazy golden wheat ale, highly carbonated with a semi-thick white head. Lim Wit has an aroma that starts like a traditional Hefeweizen with notes of banana and clove, and it finishes with light lime. Also has banana and clove flavor to begin, finishing with slightly tart lime and a light refreshing mouth feel. This is our take on the traditional Radler (German for “cyclist”), a light and refreshing “beer cocktail.” Bike not included.

Grain Bill: NY Pale Malt, Malted Barley, Malted Wheat
Hops: NY Cascade used for bittering and NY Perle used for finishing

IBU: 16
SRM: 6.9 (Golden)

SRM 7-9 (murky amber gold). The head is antique white and fine, making a brief appearance reaching only one-half inch and leaving no lacing. Calling this beer a Radler, I would have expected it to be clear in a PBGC tulip glass.

The aroma is "beery" with nothing particularly distinct. With some attention one may detect limes, though certainly light at best. The Hefeweisen can be teased out with bananas only being perceptible well after the first impression.

The flavors are all rather light and following the aroma the presence of lime and Hefeweizen flavors are surprisingly well developed. Wheat is also present. The finish contains mild banana and lasts a few minutes.

There is a hint of alcohol in this medium bodied beer with a texture similar to warm, soft cotton. Carbonation is light and fluffy.

This was an enjoyable beer on a cool sunny afternoon and likely is better suited to a hot Summer day. Regardless, one can easily consume this over the course of an afternoon with friends.

This brewer is very innovative with zero waste stream. Check out Timberfish online. timberfishtech.com
