This should be in the porter/stout realm, it's so rich and awesome. Pours very dark, and gives a big full tan head.
Aromas are off the chart, roasty , hazelnutty, vanilla bean, and chocolaty.
Taste follows perfectly; roasty, nutty, malty, amazing pure nutter-ness for an ol nutter.
This dark ale is one of the best out there, if you are lucky enough to find it.

Off the single shelf at Legacy
LOOK: Pours near black, when held up to light you can pick up some red hues. Robust tan, sticky head that recedes but maintains more than a mere skin. Side glass lace is also abundant.
AROMA: Sweet roasted malts and nuts, molasses, toffee, raisins and vanilla.
TASTE: Sweet throughout, malty with coffee, toffee flavors but with a malt background.
Not a well balanced beers as hops are not being picked up.
This beer looked and smelled solid. Just too sweet for my taste. More for sipping.

It lives up to the name of nutterland. Very much a nutty brown ale. Color of dark chocolate, maybe molasses. One finger head of dark tan cream dissipates quickly. Nut in the nose for sure but not overpowering in taste. Well balanced brown ale. If im in the neighborhood of western N.C. I’ll be sure to look for it

12 oz. can poured into shaker pint glass
Dark hazy brown, minimal head
Interesting aroma is malty nutty woodsy
Has a malty nutty almost chocolatey taste, with balanced bitterness and dryness on the finish.
Feel is great throughout, even though it looked under-carbonated it is not .
Gets more complex as it warms, if you can allow it to. Great seasonal brown ale that's worthy of a year round offering!
