A: Golden-yellow with a white head, good retention, leaves a little lace.
S: Steelie, grassy hops, hints of diacetyl & sulfur with a light toffee maltiness. A good hop nose, but otherwise very subtle and refined. All the trademarks of a quality Pils.
T: Steelie, grassy hops with a decent bitterness. Yes they could've amped it up a bit, but this has a nice balance for a Pils and seems just as refined as a continental version. Hints of sulfur & peppery spice, light breadyness & toffee from the malt. Good stuff.
M: Moderate body is smooth with an off-dry finish.
D: A hell of an easy drinker.
There's not enough craft lagers, and this one doesn't disappoint. I'm becoming more impressed with this brewery.
This seems to be a collaboration brew, contracted to Russell:

mainstreetpilsner.com - not much there other than the logo, and an email address. The bottle states "Inaugural Commemorative Batch 2010." Not sure what it's commemorating.
Crystal clear golden colour with dozens of tiny bubbles flowing up. Fluffy white head.
Crisp malty smell with a nice, citrus hop bite. Very clean on the palate, and quite refreshing with just a hint of malty sweetness. Dry finish to it.
Good carbonation - not overly fizzy, but enough to feel it. Very refreshingand great ice cold on a hot day.
