A: Moderate cold-press coffee aroma, followed by deep malt roast reminiscent of coffee/chocolate with a slight sweet finish.
A: Black color, totally opaque, with a moderate tan head that has adequate retention.
T: Fresh coffee flavor upfront well intermixed with the deep malt roast. Very little hop/roast bitterness on the finish. The lactose gives the beer a moderately sweet finish.
M: Medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.
O: Really solid coffee stout; the beer has a great fresh cold-pressed coffee aroma and flavor without totally overwhelming the malt character. The beer finishes a little (too) sweet. However, the beer has a solid body and mouth-feel that really brings it all together well.
