Crystal-clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the tall PIlsner glass. This one is sweet and dank. Interesting aroma that makes me think of a faint whiff of a pouch of pipe tobacco. Taste is lemon pie with a woody dark finish. Resiny and bitter in the aftertaste. An interesting but not fascinating hoppy brew that is a little rough on the edge. From the 16 oz can purchased somewhere in Suburbia. Dated 12/27/2023.

To all non Californians out there: no one from California calls it “Cali.” Then again, here is Riip using it in a beer name. Hell if I know. Either way, this beers rips. Get it? You can smell it from a mile away like Grace Kelly fresh out of the shower. And even though I do have to say that hella dead grass isn’t my favorite flavor in IPA’s…Wow. Damn is this beer clean! John Deere will not be needed.

On tap at Beermongers today.
The beer pours a bright golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, this is a WCIPA all the way, as I pick up onion, dry tropical fruit and a hint of citrus. As good as this beer smells, it's even better on the palate. The flavor profile generally replicates the nose, but with some attractive bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is fairly full in this well crafted ipa, with a fairly dry, bitter finish. Alcohol is pretty well integrated into the flavor profile, though it's noticeable.
Overall, this is a pretty nice WCIPA from this new to me brewery.
