On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a golden light straw yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells grassy, grainy, and toasty, with some spice.
This is really solid take on a light lager. It’s got quite the spicy hop bitterness to it – it’s definitely much more hop forward than your typical industrial light lager. The bitterness is the main flavor, it’s quite dry, but there’s a nice light grainy toastiness to it as well.
This is very light bodied, with a nice snappy bite on the finish.
This is possibly a little bit too bitter for the style, but I still enjoyed it.

I had my first from DUB four years ago, courtesy of Tavour and I commented that that NEIPA was quality, but I didn't get a sense of what motivated DUB. Four years later, DubCo Light is my second and leaves the same impression. DUB has expanded to a second location, this one in rural Westchester County that includes a food menu and the ambition to be a gastropub. So in eight years, they've grown; but not significantly by NY standards. Their website has improved, but still doesn't answer questions of motivation. Maybe it will some day.
As for DubCo Light, it certainly Looks its part in an average sort of way; too blonde and not lager clear. Smells are mostly malt, suitable for a beer to wash down fried food (which is what, essentially, I ate with this Light.) Tastes are balanced, with hops only countering the malts. Light in my mouth, but it's supposed to be.
I wish DUB well, but for me: too many micros and too little time.
