This New England IPA pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head, and a grapefruit nose. The grapefruit carries through, but a chalky note emerges in the mouthfeel. It's not bad, but I'm not wild on the back end.

No date - poured from a tall-boy can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.
Murky gamboge body with a slight yellow-orange halo; four fingers of pearling rocky cream peaking over the top. Sticky lacing; excellent retention.
Alfalfa, white pepper, grapefruit pith, mango, and orange in the nose. A bit subdued after the initial pour.
Sweet and spicy palate entry with cotton candy, honey, and floral notes before a bit of cantaloupe, lychee, and Meyer lemon emerge. Low bitterness, but with a slightly astringent, bittersweet finish. Perhaps a hint of fusels around the edges.
Very sticky, medium-bodied, and pillow-y mouth-feel. Not quite chalky at moments...
Some years ago, I would have thought this was an overzealous hop loving home-brewer's decent but novice effort. Not to say DubCo isn't fully in control of their process, but their vision and execution might be a bit at odds with this ale? Not bad, but wouldn't re-purchase...

Darker golden and super hazy with a decent sized almost white head. Fruity citrus and tropical nose on this brew. Good initial sweet tropical blast quickly turns bitter with a pine ending. Good carbonation for the style with a somewhat crisp feel.

Served in a teku glass from the can.
Appearance: Super cloudy coming off almost opaque orange tinted gold color with medium bubbles to the body creating a thick white which initially rose almost one fingers length off the body.
Smell: Light floral aroma which comes off like lemon zest and grapefruit juice.
Taste: Bitter and malty, has sweet citrus juice consisting of yellow grapefruit with heavy floral.
Mouth: Touch dry, bitter finish but cleans up nice with a not super sticky finish.
Overall: Good brew, have had better from DubCo but honestly I can't and will not complain just because it didn't leave an unsatisfied taste in my mouth. Salud!
