Real Watermelon puree and Watermelon Splash Herbal Tea infused into our house golden sour base. The Watermelon Splash blend contains green rooibos tea, watermelon, apple pieces, strawberry pieces, and hibiscus. Just in time for summer, this sour is refreshing, light, and lined with a touch of sweetness like the perfect bite of watermelon.

(4 oz taster pour at the brewery 3 Jul 2024... reviewed from notes and recollections)
notes: interesting... bitter, salty watermelon; the rooibos definitely present
recollections: pale liquid with a mild haze... barely a fruit essence (watermelon rind, hint of rooibos, at best) on the nose, but a burst of flavor on the palate... the rooibos slowly came to the fore as the fruity part of the bitter melon flavor receded into the background... clean, crisp feel with only a mellow sense of wheated swell at the front... kind of a unique beer that came across more like a gose variant than basic kettle sour; recommended!... the second most characterful of the 8 tasters I had that day (2336)
