Very interesting brew. Pretty full bodied for a "sour" stout. This is definitely more stout than sour, but still has a decent amount of tartness. You can definitely make out all of the flavors. Tart chocolate covered raspberries with a boozy finish. For me, the high abv of 9.5 does not bode well with the tartness. I would be inclined to either try a lower abv version of this beer, or a non sour version of a Raspberry stout. Overall, good but on the boozy side.

On tap at Mammoth Brewing Co
A: Pours dark dark brown, pretty much black with a rich brown head that settles to a thin ring around the edge of the glass and leaves some spotty lacing
S: Tart dark raspberry, roasted malt, a hint of vanilla and bourbon, and a little milk chocolate.
T: Roasted malt, faint coffee, light vanilla and bourbon, but moves on to tart raspberry.
M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, clean finish.
O: Very cool seasonal brew. Glad I got a chance to try it.
