This Hazy Double IPA is a juice-bomb, sure to quench the thirst of even the most critical of IPA aficionados. Carefully crafted for monstrous hop flavor with mild bitterness, we added most of the hot-side hops during the whirlpool and then dry hop with nearly four pounds per barrel after fermentation. Designed to be sweet and juicy, this brew has a potent citrus-forward backbone, with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, nectarine, and tropical fruit medley. Plenty of wheat malt, rolled oats, and a touch of red x malt give this Hazy DIPA a beautiful golden-orange color, much like you can expect during our spectacular eastern sierra sunsets!

Stovepipe can poured into a Mammoth Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, juicy citrus, a bit floral, faint grassy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, mango, guava, and hints of pineapple and melon, citrus, tangerine, lime, and lemon, floral notes, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Given the description I was expecting a bit more bright citrus up front, but it's still a very solid hazy (not sure I'd call a 7.5% a DIPA though). I'd happily sit back and watch the sunset with this.
