Jerry Antics IPA is a new-school West Coast IPA, born from old-school ingredients and a pre-school mentality. Simcoe, Citra, and Columbus are meticulously layered on top of Pilsner, 2-Row, and Oats to make for an easy drinking IPA. The classic grapefruit, pine, and resin flavors shine brighter than your 80's jumpsuit and chicken hat.

On tap at Mammoth Brewing

A: Pours straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little light lacing.

S: Quick hit of citrus and pine, surprisingly prevalent yeasty presence, a touch grassy, hints of tropical and stone fruit, and crackery biscuity malt.

T: Zesty citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, and lemon, resinous spicy faintly herbal pine, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, apricot, passion fruit, and peach, crackery biscuity malt, and just a hint of sweetness on a fairly dry finish.

M: Light to body, moderate carbonation, super crisp.

O: Taste wise, this is the most I've liked a Mammoth IPA in a while, if not ever. Crisp, crushable, if it wasn't one of the last cold snowy days this year it'd hit even better, and after fishing for 2 days it still hits great. The thing that's throwing me is the nose. Somehow the yeast is the thing that pops the most, while everything else takes a back seat. If they reverse that, hit it with an extra dry hop charge, this would be an absolute winner for summer.
