Here's how our new surf inspired seasonal IPA series graced by the art of famed local artist Andy Davis. Like an overcast coastal morning, this IPA pours hazy then beams through with a golden & sunny hop aroma.

Picked this up with five others at Bine & Vine to get the 10 percent off, and a 6-pack of Firestone Lager. Had visited Duck Foot once a few years back and wasn’t particularly impressed. This would be my first review though. This can read, “Here's how our new surf inspired seasonal IPA series graced by the art of famed local artist Andy Davis. Like an overcast coastal morning, this IPA pours hazy then beams through with a golden & sunny hop aroma.” Hops mentioned were Citra and Motueka, and that sounded great to me.
Poured a light amber, hazy color with three fingers of white, rocky head. Could see a lot of bubbles creeping up around the glass. Excellent spiderweb lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled both the Citra and Motueka from the get-go, and if I had to pick another hop it would be Amarillo. Also caramel, marmalade, grapefruit, lime, melon, spoiled fruit and bitter citrus rind. More of the same from the can with some trashy, spoiled melon leading the way. (Smell - 3.75
Taste followed the nose for the most part. First thought was that I wasn’t that impressed. Got Motueka, caramel candy squares, Citra, grapefruit, melon, bitter tangerine rind and tropical fruit. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.00)
I think I overrated this a tad, but it was very good. (Overall - 3.75)
