West Coast Style IPA

Collaborating with the crazy nut jobs at Kookslams, we mixed up a super fun and easy-drinking brew with some outstanding hops but a crisp and clean finish. Check out the big hop flavors of berries, tangerine and grapefruit. Perfect for drinking on or off the beach, kick back and crack a cold one and revisit the day’s antics, or just get ready to do it all over again tomorrow!

They're crazy and they're kooky, but they're not the Adams Family. They're brewing up a collaborative beer for getting into a little trouble or reminisce about them.

Kook Slams leaps right out with a bright golden pour and only the faintest of haze. As a bright citrus and tropical fruit perfume springs to the nose, so do hints of berry, herb and grape. Supple in its sweetness, a powdered sugar character comes with notions of honeysuckle and wafer in a thin veil of maltiness.

As the malts dry and their sweetness recedes, the hops grow into a bold display of pink grapefruit, orange and lime. Not to be outdone, an exotic set of tropical fruits bring hints of pineapple, passionfruit and papaya before a final fruit display of grape, currant, lemon create a drying bitterness of verbena, lemon pepper, lemongrass, green tea and fresh spruce.

Medium bodied, crisp and spicy with hops, Kook Slams finishes with a leafy herb bite that shares hints of dried hemp and hay with a gin-like spice. Its a dry and refreshing beer with subtle hop-derived astringency that grows as the ale finishes.

On tap. Super hoppy but smooth and not overly bitter. Clean, crisp, dank. Just a stellar version of a classic WC IPA.

Deep copper in color with the brightest white head I have ever seen. Lacing is present and and caressing glass. Nose is piney and rather strong. Taste is equally piney and bitterness on follow through, as it should be. Good stuff

Pours golden clear with light fading head. Clean. Crisp. Simple. Unmasked. Beautiful articulated local SD IPA at 7.5% ABV.

This is a crisp, slick, west coast IPA..The other Duck Foot beer I'm a fan of is the It Hurts When IPA, and this west coast brew definitely doesn't disappoint..

The look is a beautiful clear, copper straw IPA classic look, with a beautiful 1 1/2 finger foam white head..

The taste is a slightly piney, grapefruit, lemon, classic crisp IPA note that is very distinctive and to the point..

Duck Foot seems to have some experience in the gourmet craft brews that seem to get my attention..Love the west coast style beers they have popping out!
