Pours a motor-oil black hue capped with a minimal presence of fluffy, mocha foam; mediocre head retention fades to a pitch black surface, no collar, and no lacing holding to the walls of the glass.
Aromas of rich peanut butter meld with a lush vanilla wash, leaving dark chocolate lingering through a raw cocoa edge as tinges of oak impart ripe bourbon to the bouquet.
Taste brings floral vanilla with oaky edges upfront as silky peanut butter takes hold and a bourbon warmth courses over the mid-palate, revealing a roasty char and prevailing dark cocoa accents on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a body on the fuller end of medium, with minimal carbonation easing to slick textures meeting a mild char over the mid-palate before drying softly through the back end toward a silky close.
Exceptional richness sees an upfront and overtly satisfying interplay of peanut butter and cacao, with mild barrel undertones suggesting a balanced yet confident adjunct bill carry the profile with great success; an all-around stellar peanut butter stout.
