On tap @ Abe Erb = taps a pale hazy straw color - keeps a puffy white cap for most of the drink - Aromas of spice, dusty grains, pear cider, lemon grass. Dry but warm character, sharp peppery mouth feel - flavour profiles a hop forward ale with fruity spicy esters dominating, mid palate you get some pale biscuit malt balance then the clean dry increasing spicy-bitter finish. This is more in the style of the Saison reserve styles the farm brewer would hold back for his own consumption -has bottle conditioned dryness and yeasty tones and is higher gravity with some detectable fusel notes and warmth.
