Phinneywood Porter has been a Flying Bike fan favorite since its outstanding debut in early 2016. This beer was the product of our first ever Stout competition, and the last competition held outside of our brewery (huge thanks Seapine Brewing Company for the space). Member Eric Blume’s homebrew stout was deservedly named best of the best and we scaled it up with his help.

IBU: 30
Moderate, light tan head. Very dark brown, which is also opaque. Medium light level of smooth dark roasted wood aroma. Slightly sharp at the outset of the taste, then a slightly perfumed, very dark roasted grain flavor prevails, with some of the sharpness lingering. Long finish of a bit sharp, dark roasted grains.
