Mostly opaque, very dark brown with a very moderate amount of light tan head. Slightly sweet, caramel and a bit of vanilla, on a spiced, dark roasted grain and barley base, for the aroma. A sharp note, to the touch sweet, woody and bitter herb taste. A good finish of a touch woody, spiced caramel malt flavor.
