On tap at Verona Inn. Pours a golden, effervescent hue with minimal frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of citrus and grapefruit. Similar overall flavor profile.

Many thanks to DEdesings57 for this can!
A - Hazy medium to dark orange gold color with thick frothy white foam on top with sticky lacing.
S - Spicy/peppery tropical fruit nectarine and citrus. Aroma is pungent and juicy.
T - Tangerine, nectarine, red grapefruit and spicy juicy sweetness up front and finises with an aggressive citrus rind bitterness that lingers for a good long time.
M - Big medium body with a very dry finish. The mouth eventually gets a cotton-like sensation from the dryness.
O - I like Magnify's IPA's and this one is no disappointment. Recommended.

This is a Dankosaurus Rex DIPA that is right in my sweet spot - beautiful hazy golden sunshine color with a sudsy off-white head that, as you pour it aggressively, produces mouth watering dank citrus hop aromas of ripe tangerines, mango, and juicy pineapple. Holy crap.
The tangerines lead the taste parade, and there’s a nice bitterness to this old school DIPA that leads to a crisp finish with a bite and a lingering booziness that is simply outstanding.
If I could, I’d buy a keg of this. Simply magnificent, IMHO.

Hazy gold color. Moderate head which settles to a film of bubbles, leaving a blanket of lace initially, streaks thereafter.
Pale malt up front with a light hoppiness.
Spritzy with a moderate body. The start is malty (pale barley) but the finish is biting with a peppery hop. The aftertaste is black pepper bitter.

Gold, hazy, white head, spotty lacing. Very hoppy aroma with little malt sweetness. Lots of grapefruit pith taste. Very bitter and low sweetness. Really bitter aftertaste.

8.5% ABV is not overly big for a DIPA, and that may be why its smoothness is appealing. Many believe this is a West Coast style, but I think its chewiness and huge nose lean more toward New England. Piney, dank and citrus pretty much describe the flavor. King Julius it ain't, but certainly worth a hophead's time and money.
