10/9/16....pours dark black with very low foam. Coffee oaty based nose. Gritty bitter. Hearty rich open, notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Woodsy and red wine hints. Milky consistency. Rich and tasty. Another winner.

Red wine barrel aged milk porter on draft at Cloverleaf Tavern. Huge tan head, nose of wine barrel, smooth creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate finish. A surprise gem.

8oz Pour from the brewery.

Pours a dark black with a slight head.
Smells of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate
Big coffee taste with dark chocolate maybe a little cinnamon.
Much thicker feel than most porters.
Great Beer!

I had this on draught at the brewery. 8 oz. pour. It pours a dark mahogany-virtually black-withe a creamy, ecru-colored head and lacing. It smells of chocolate, coffee, and a whiff of anise. It has a nice flavor of burnt coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla and bitter hops at the finish. For a porter, it did not have the typical watery feel; it was medium-bodied, moderately carbonated, and the 6.9% ABV gives it substance without being overpowering. Overall, I really enjoyed it. This is the first Porter from Magnify that I've had and I have no doubt the brewery is more than capable of producing fine beers of this style.
