Half Batch is hopped with Chinook and Centennial and fermented with our hazy NE style yeast. Super juicy.

Pours a hazy pale straw in color with a finger of white head with decent retention. Aroma is grapefruit with some indistinct tropical fruits. Taste has grapefruit upfront followed by more smooth tropical fruits, pine, and a light-moderate bitterness. Medium+ body with moderate-high carbonation. This beer actually grew on me over the course of the pint; the pine became more prominent as the beer warmed a bit and helped balance out the other flavors and made for a better drinking experience.

Traded for this recently and finally got around to it today. While this wasn't a bad beer, this was too "typical" and epitomized everything about the dank, juicy northeast-style IPA without bringing anything new to the table. While not a letdown, this was too textbook for me to fully appreciate though it turned out to be quite easy to quaff and enjoy, regardless of that!
Without a doubt, the pour was the best aspect of this beer as the hazy, apricot hue was quite pleasing to look at and fit in nicely with the moderately fluffy head and thin rings of lacing left behind on the side of my pint glass. Lots of marmalade, apricot, and stone fruit sweetness in the nose but all of them were quite subdued when it came to their aromas. More candied sugar and honey were to be found in the taste, making this an easy sipper from start to finish. A light amount of carbonation and mild hop presence allowed the fruit to shine through as this beer came across as something to have after dinner with sugary pastries.
The booze was here but it wasn't tasted as much as it could be felt by a mild warming effect. I'm not usually one for beers that are too crystalline in taste but somehow, this ended up working for me in the end. The sediment at the bottom of my glass was a bit of a detriment but otherwise, there wasn't much wrong with this beer. Too sweet for most, this had the aspects of a Cream Ale with the potency and dankness of an IPA. A fun beer that calls less burn in the aftertaste the second time around!

I had this on tap months ago when it truly was a 1/2 Batch and enjoyed it. Glad they brought it back and canned it - very smooth and drinkable. No booze taste at all - impressive for 8%. Not their best but another solid offering from Magnify.

I had this on draught at the brewery. 12 oz. pour. It pours a hazy, turbid honey-color with one finger of foamy white head and lacing with good retention. The smell is a little subdued but features grapefruit, tropical fruit, pine needles, and floral hops. What a great taste: It starts with citrus and sweet tropical fruit at the tip of the tongue. There is almost a honey taste. Then, it turns bitter and biting with hops and pepper that burns the back of the throat. This ale is thick and creamy and you can feel the 8% ABV. Overall, it is a big, bold IPA with a nice, creamy mouth feel. I wish Magnify canned this one!
