Flashbacks Are Forever - Mango

I had this on draught at the brewery. 8 oz. pour. It pours a turbid, honey-orange color with a thin, milk-white head and minimal lacing. It looks more like a NE IPA than a Saison. It smells of orange, mango, and oak; an unusual aroma. The taste is also unique: it opens with sweet mango and oak, then quickly segues to a strong, peppery, sour brett taste with a touch of Belgian funk. The mouth feel isn't like a typical Saison: thick and sticky with moderate carbonation. The 7% ABV is barely noticeable with the unique flavors and poses no impediment to multiple pours. Overall, this is really a unique Saison both in appearance and taste. I don't taste the overt Belgian spicing but the mango and oak give it a different taste. I liked it!
