Collaboration with Barrier Brewing Company. This beer contains the most hops we have ever put into a beer. It's loaded with Citra, Vic Secret, Summit and Apollo in kettle and double dry hopped with an insane amount of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Vic Secret and Apollo.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is strong citrus Peel notes with some light dank hops. Taste is zesty and bitter, citrusy, bready. Heavy-ish mouth feel, with some latent alcohol warmth.

Magnify Brewing Co. "Break The Bank"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$6.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: A cloudy golden-orange body is capped by a thumb's width of rocky off-white foam. The aroma is resinous, herbal, and citrusy. It's interesting. I'm probably wrong but it makes me think of Summit hops. I thought it might be a little more aromatic as it's triple dry hopped but there's also a lot of malt coming through and that can block some of the hops. Let's see how it tastes... it's initially more fruity but those resinous and herbal notes hit hard at the end and linger in the dry and bitter finish. I can't really tell how bitter it is because, again, there's a lot of malt going on, but it's solid. Haha, despite my love for "zero IBU" juicy NEIPAs I also sometimes like a little bitterness in my IPA! The alcohol has a clear presence, which is welcome, and adds to the dry and bitter finish. So let's see what I can round up in terms of specific flavor notes: nectarine, peach, mint, pine/resins, mango, day old mown grass, passionfruit, sage, earthiness, grapefruit, and orange. In the mouth it's medium-full in body and gently crisp then smooth. It's quite murky, which I guess is OK, and the head retention and lacing are both very good so it takes home a 4.25 out of 5 for appearance. I like the blend of 'swampy' and fruity hops but I'm not sure how others will take to it.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Had 12/7/21.
Pours a hazy yellow orange, with a one inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, pineapple, light grapefruit and pine, some malt, some melon. Flavors of pine, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, some melon. Has a good amount of hop bitterness on the finish, that lingers. Tastes herbal and a little spicy. Smooth, a very good lighter body, well carbonated.
Solid from top to bottom. Liked the strong bitterness from a hazy. The flavor opens up as it warms. Very enjoyable.

Cloudy straw appearance with nice white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a nice citrus. Taste is a bitter citrus that is slightly sweet. Nice feel.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence muffin top glass; canned 07/14/20.
A: Pours an opaque, golden-yellow color with a two inch, foamy, white head with rim and cap retention and solid lacing.
S: Aromas vegetal (oregano, basil, thyme) and white grapefruit and lime citrus. A touch of pine, at least earthy. Caramel definitely the core of things under all that fruit.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Flavors favor oregano, basil, caramel, white grapefruit and lemon citrus. Complex with loads of resin and pine, as well as grain/malt flavors. Solid bitterness limited any excess sweetness.
M: Medium bodied with excellent carbonation. Nearly creamy, substantial, frankly wonderful mouthfeel.
O: A collaboration with Barrier Brewing Co., Breaking the Bank is a delicious DIPA on a par with any well constructed, "green" example of the style. Just in time for summer.
