IPA brewed to pay homage to time spent in Maine and New England. Without those experiences there would be no Magnify. This IPA is hopped significantly with Citra and Simcoe and double dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe.

This is a nice double hopped slight hazy style IPA.

A wonderful and well executed extension of an already superior base beer. The 2019 version of DDH Maine Event features Citra Cyro hops for second dry hop alongside some more Simcoe. The beer is a wonderful pleasure to drink without being crippling by it's ABV. It still remains to be one of their best brews.

Traded for this a while ago and got around to this Double Dry Hopped version of one of my favorite beers from Magnify, on this muggy day. While this beer was pretty "typical" in every sense of the word when it came to IPA's from this neck of the woods. It was smooth, easygoing, and light on alcohol but not quite up to the level of the better beers from Bissel Brothers, Tree House, or Trillium. With that being said, it was still worthy of the two states depicted on the can!
Not a bad pour to this as the beer had a dank, melon hue to it with plenty of head to boot. Not a lot of lacing was left behind but there were a few scattered clumps of soapy residue was left along the top third of my pint glass. Tons of lime in the nose with a hop feel of Mosaic, Nelson, or Simcoe in right behind that. More citrus juice, dank melon, and lemon zest were to be found in the taste as the dankness and slickness emerged. This gave the beer depth but none of them were able to overcome the initial burst of lime that stuck with me through the end.
Thankfully, the alcohol was light and so was the carbonation. Plenty of citrus juice stuck around in the aftertaste, keeping this from being too heavy while giving it a nice kick of fruit sweetness. Not overly cloudy, this beer was a Jersey take on something from Maine or Massachusetts. A fun beer that combined the best of both worlds, from start to finish!

Pours a hazy pale straw in color with a finger of white head. Aroma is subtle, indistinct tropical fruits. I get lime upfront followed by tropical fruits, a touch of pine, and a peach note comes out as the beers warms. Lightly bitter finish. Just shy of medium body with moderate carbonation. Overall a very tasty beer that became more complex over the course of a pint.
