Traded for this recently and got around to it this week, as I've been on a Magnify kick lately. I was never that crazy about the regular Low Visibility and this one was even less impressive than the original. It was too cloudy, chakly, and hopped up and as another reviewer on here mentioned, the bottom 1/4 or so had to be dumped out as it was just a mess...
The pour to this was pretty predictable - as the beer was completely cloudy, faded, and the color of pure melon rind. The thin, webbed head settled quickly as it loudly retreated. Tons of pith and even more rind in the nose but it wasn't terribly appealing and that continued in the taste as the astringency was completely apparent from the get-go. Lemon, pepper, and yeast were just in too much force here as this smoothly slid down; which was regrettable given that I had to hold back on the sips.
Thankfully, there wasn't a lot of alcohol to this though it certainly felt stronger than it turned out to be in actuality. The Galaxy was here but just didn't mesh well with the yeast and the burn was too bitter for me to fully enjoy. Drink this only if you're a fan of the original version of the Low Vis...

L - pours a thick, milky, blonde, white-yellow haze. Looks like banana cream pie. Definitely haven't seen this color in beer before.
S - spicy grapefruit rind. Light mango sweetness. Peppery pineapple. A bit crackery.
T - there's an underlying sweet flavor. I wanna say banana but I may just be biased because of how it looks. I haven't tried the base beer, but the way this drinks tells me "something" was done to another beer. There sweetness is probably closer to mango or peach rings. The dry hopping adds a lemony pineapple veil and dry, grassy bitterness. Feels like a blanket draped over the base beer. Bottom of the can is a yeasty, acidic mess. Reminds me of Hype Train in that it's almost undrinkable in its bitterness and battery acid..ness. Do yourself a favor and pour 3/4 of the beer at once and dump the rest.
F - mealy and chalky. Leaves quite the hop residue in the mouth. Feels like I chased beer with raw hops.
O - an interesting and bold pale ale. Huge, merciless dry hop presence. Almost a little too big. Potent flavors for a sub-5 pale ale.

From a growler at the brewery
L-Looks like a whiskey sour...........very hazy, opaque, color of grapefruit juice............1/2 inch head with minimal lacing
S-quite hoppy out of the gate...........grapefruit, lime, orange, passionfruit
T-citrus hops.....grapefruit, lemon-lime, orange peel.........mildly bitter and slightly peppery, hop matter burn on the back of throat during the finish
F-smooth, creamy slightly less than medium........some tingle on the side of the tongue from carbonation.....slight burn on the finish
O-tasty low ABV IPA which is very drinkable on a hot summer day

I had this on draught at the brewery a week after its release in cans (cans of Magnify small batch releases sell out within hours). I enjoy the regular version of Low Vis and was eager to try this variant. It pours an opaque, golden-yellow with virtually no head or lacing. It's more turbid than the standard version. The smell is similar insofar as the tangerine and peach but the Galaxy hops give it an overall different aroma. The Galaxy gives it a distinctly different taste. It's still fruity but I think more bitter and there is more of a peppery, astringent burn at the finish. Like the base version, this one is lite and quaffable with its 4.8% ABV and pleasant carbonation. Overall, this is an interesting, and tasty, interpretation of Low Vis. The peppery, astringent finish may be off-putting but I enjoyed it.
