Froot Joose is a 7% sour IPA with lactose. This beer is kettle soured, hopped with Citra and Amarillo in the kettle and dry hopped with Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic. This tart IPA was designed to taste like your favorite childhood fruit juice drink. It's definitely one of the weirdest and juiciest beers we've done so far.

Thanks goes out to DEdesings57 for this brew.
16 oz. Can
Poured into a Squatters true pint glass a very nice cloudy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some really nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple), tart/sour, nice little diesel like. The taste is really nice, hoppy, malty, with a really nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple), nice little tartness/sour note, really nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well with this one, with a really nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Surprised Me! Addictive! Orange Julius! Nice take on the style. Glad to have gotten a chance to try it. Thanks Dave!

This was yet another beer from Magnify that I traded for recently and finally got around to tonight on this slightly muggy but oh-so-pleasant summer's night. Love the can design with the look of cow with the hops thrown in for good measure, which summed up this beer quite nicely. Juicy, and sweet, this was very, very tricky to decipher but damn, if I hadn't had anything this smooth in quite some time!
Nice pour to this as the beer was golden, muted, and silently radiant as if the amber in it was as rich as any West Coast IPA that got me into malted barley beverages. A short but pertinent head topped this off as it filled my pint glass perfectly. Not a strong aroma here but this was full of passion fruit, tropical sweetness, blood orange juice, and muted citrus tang that served as a wonderful undertone to this. Lactose and fruit sweetness rounded this out, giving this beer wonderful depth and color without feeling the least bit forced or contrived. The sugar and tartness took this to the next level as this seamlessly melded milk and fruit together, with the end result being a bright and smooth brew that had me wanting more after every sip.
To say that this was the weirdest and juiciest beer that Magnify's done so far would be an understatement - this didn't feel like beer at all as there was hardly any burn, bitterness, or sourness from the hops as the juice dominated from start to finish. If it was possible to take bubble tea, ferment it, and toss in some cream for good measure, this might be the end result. "Might* being the key word as I'd doubt that it would measure up to this. Love the execution of this and without a doubt, this was a feather in Magnify's cap. A must-try for anyone looking for an IPA that would stand out from the pack, and quickly leave your pint glass at the same time.
