Picked this up when it was released at Magnify, getting around to it on this stormy night. I had both iterations of the Copious Amounts of Juice and looked forward to this being even more of a juice bomb than those were. Sure enough, that's exactly what this was as this had to be one of the smoothest beers I've had in a long time - if ever - and it went down faster than I could savor and review it!
Nice pour to this as the beer was a muted goldenrod, hazy, and topped off with plenty of foamy head. That took a while to settle down as there were beautiful rings of lacing left behind as I sipped this out of my pint glass. Lots of tangerine, pineapple, dank hops, and mild tropical fruits in the nose as the taste had an underlying dankness to it. Honey stickiness, potpourri, slick citrus juice, and bitter hints of the El Dorado and Azacca hops came through in the taste as this warmed up. Very little sediment sank to the bottom of my glass and the carbonation was just light enough to complement the flavors nicely without overpowering them...
Amazingly, this tasted and felt like there wasn't *any* alcohol in it, despite that not even being close to the truth. This hid the booze wonderfully and had it feeling like I had bought this at the supermarket and not a brewery. While not being terribly complex, it was nearly impossible to dislike this beer as it was so soft and smooth that it wouldn't ever offend anyone. Fun stuff that put the juice in juice bomb, without being over the top!

Misleading Name but what you will find is a tropical dipa with a unique hop profile and a well constructed recipe worthy of your interest.

I had this on draught at the brewery the day after its release. It pours a hazy, golden-apricot color with a foamy, egg shell colored head and lacing that lasted through the pour. The nose features tangerine, tropical fruit, a hint of honey, and lightly-fragrant hops. The taste is far more fruity than the nose. There is a sweet, tropical fruit taste with a hint of caramel. The taste is both sweet and delicate. There is a discernible taste of Citra, Amarillo, El Dorado and Azacca hops but without any bitterness. The feel is creamy with light carbonation, and it drinks below its 8% ABV. Overall, this is an easy drinking, fruity DIPA with a kick. It's well-crafted and enjoyable.
