Intergalactic Event is a 6.5% IPA based off of Maine Event IPA. Maine Event is brewed and dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe. We used the same recipe for Maine Event, but swapped all the Simcoe in the whirlpool and first dry hop for Galaxy. We then dry hopped it a second time with another hefty dose of Galaxy.

Pours an effervescent & very hazed gold with 2 fingers of fluffed up eggshell colored head. Stays super-hazed, very nice head retention & lacing
S: Some citrus & bready notes. Citrus & bready sweetness picks up once warm, but still somewhat lacking
T: Bitter orange, dryness, limes & a kiss of sweet orange up front. Sweeter citrus flavors prevail as this beer warms up, still pronounced dryness & some lime notes. Finishes dry, juicy with bitter orange, plus lime taking back over, some pineapple very late
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, pretty nice balance
Super-solid juicyness & easy to drink.

9/22/18...thick hazed cloudy gold, almost white with heavy white foam. Grapefruit resin filled nose soft on the palate with a heavy hop burn. Fruity, hints of mango and apricot on top. Tasty.
