Love this beer. Pours orange and smells of citrus. Wonderful flavor - nice and juicy but its the slight tartness that makes it special. Its just right, subtle but def there. Excellent beer.

 

 

 

 

Picked this up yesterday at the brewery

L-This is a hazy looking juice bomb........looks similar to an orange julius............thick, creamy, 1 inch head, thick lacing

S-smells slightly like an orange creamsicle.........citrus notes with vanilla cream

T-Citrus, floral, orange creamsicle......slightly bitter finish with some lemon peel

F- pillowy soft and smooth........creamy........slightly less than medium........low carbonation

O-one of the best by Magnify...........mouthfeel is exceptional

Reviewed on release day so super fresh. I had this both on draught at the brewery and poured from can into Magnify tulip glass. It pours a totally opaque, turbid yellow-tangerine color with a fluffy, milk-colored head that dissipated quickly leaving a coating of soapy lacing. The smell is rather subdued but there are floral hops and vanilla. The taste is fantastic! it opens with sweet vanilla with lemon peel and light grapefruit, followed by a wash of subtle but flavorful hops, including the telltale Motueka and Simcoe. The hops are really delicate and add more flavor than bitterness. This is as creamy an ale as Magnify has brewed. It's delightfully silky and creamy with moderate carbonation and an 8% ABV that is barely noticeable. Hey Cutie was brewed in honor of the baby recently born to the head brewer and his wife and it is probably a one time, limited release. But it is a tour de force and one of the finest beers Magnify has brewed. Bravo!
