Reviewed on release day. Poured from 16 oz. can into Magnify tulip glass. It pours an opaque, dirty orange-brown color with more than a finger of fluffy, bright white head and lacing with great retention. The nose is subdued with light lemon and grapefruit, sweet malt, and subtle but pleasant hops. The taste opens with a burst of sweet tangerine with lemon, and a touch of caramel. The mix of hops, Cascade, Hallertau Blanc, Ekuanot, and Simcoe, create a complex and thorough enjoyable finish. The hops aren't overly bitter but they are extremely flavorful. For a TIPA, the flavors are remarkably delicate and blend very well. This ale has a pleasing, creamy mouth feel with moderate carbonation, and the 10% ABV is remarkably well hidden, that is until the second pour. Overall, I think this is Magnify's best TIPA to date; it has lots of flavor but doesn't overwhelm you with the alcohol. This is a very fine beer!
