Upper Peninsula is a 6.5% IPA Double Dry Hopped with Mackinac hops. Mackinac is a newer hop that is grown in the upper peninsula of Michigan. We are impressed with the tropical and fruit forward characteristics of this hop.

L-Very cloudy, dank looking yellowish green.......1 finger head, moderate retention......lacing provides a nice cavering to the side of the glass
S-Aroma of sweet fruity hops on the tropical side........passion fruit, ripe papaya, peach, plum, orange
T-Not as fruity as the nose......more bready with the fruit arriving at the end of the show with a slight bitter after taste of grapefruit peel.....
F-less than medium......carbonation is crisp......
O-by no means a bad beer but not on par with some of Magnify's best.....with all the good hazy IPA's available these days this one doesn't stand up to the rest......but I will say this beer gets better as it warms so to get max enjoyment I would let it sit a while before opening....
