Reviewed on day of release. Poured from 16. oz. can into Magnify tulip glass. It pours an opaque, golden straw-yellow with a half finger cap of foamy, bright white head that dissipated slowly leaving a thin coating of lacing inside the glass. Its dank nose features lemon, lime, grapefruit, onion, light pine, and fragrant floral hops. It opens with intense bitterness from the Mosaic and Topaz hops. The citrus taste is tart and nicely dank with lots of bitter pine, and it finishes with the faintest hint of caramel. As the glass warmed, the fruit became more noticeable. This ale is medium-bodied with pleasant carbonation, and the 7% ABV gives it decent substance without distracting from the flavor. Overall, this is an intense, bitter IPA brewed by two of the best brewers in the New York Metro area. It exudes attitude.
