Great aroma of pine and citrus peels. Taste of citrus fruit, grapefruit in particular with slightly grassy short finish. Solid DIPA.

1/7/21...thick golden moss, almost orange in color. Foamy white lid, sits a bit. Fruity nose. Mostly tropical, hints of melons. Malty forward flavor, some citrus, remainder is a melon-like fruit. A boozy bitter ties a bow on it. Sweet.

Pours a light straw color, appropriate foamy white head. Great fresh hop aroma, loads of citrus. Flavor is dominated by citrus: lemon, grapefruit, orange. Light-medium bodied, finish drops off abruptly. Overall an enjoyable DIPA, feels a little light for 8.4%.

Poured a cloudy yellow-orange body with funky type of head that stuck around for a while. For some reason the aroma hit me like a mix of earthy, bitter hops and papaya. Smooth, easy to drink, minimal bitterness, tropical sweetness abounds and it finishes dry and crisp.

Might be the best I’ve had from Magnify. Nice flavorful beer. Great bitter taste with the fruit complimenting rather than overpowering the beer. Prefer out of the can so I’m never very good with the look. Highly recommend

I had this on draught at the brewery. Reviewed one week after release. 14 oz. pour in a Magnify all purpose glass. It pours an opaque, turbid golden color with brown and orange hues, and a thick, creamy milk-white cap with excellent retention and a thin, creamy film of lacing. It's a nice looking pour. It has a fragrant nose featuring pineapple, tangerine, lemon, and light caramel and floral hops. It's really a grapefruit bomb! The taste opens with bitter, puckering lemon and grapefruit rind, along with a hint of vanilla that grows as the glass warms a bit. The Galaxy hops are equally bitter and bite hard. There are pepper notes and some astringency at the finish and a decidedly bitter after taste. This ale is medium-bodied with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the 8% ABV gives it nice character. Overall, I found Edge of the Universe to be quite good although the bitterness is rather extreme. A little more vanilla to balance would be helpful.
