I usually will go for a Guinness. I decided to try yourself stout Always Stout Season. I was really surprised but extremely satisfied. Even for my 2nd glass I wasn't disappointed. Usually most beers start having a aftertaste. Whats nice about this stout. It tastes the same all tge way through in flavor the hints of what seem like a coffee chocolate notes and you can tell the strength. In the alcohol but none of it is over powering the other. Its a real tasty blend and a treat. Was a welcome surprise. Glad I finally came across it.

I had this on draught at the brewery on its release date. It pours nearly pitch black with some dark walnut tones when held to the light. It's creamy, light mocha-colored head dissipated quickly (perhaps due to the high ABV) leaving a thin sheen of lacing. It has a really fragrant aroma of roasted male, freshly-brewed coffee, milk chocolate, coconut, nuts, and a whiff of caramel. Its taste opens with burnt coffee, bakers chocolate, tobacco smoke, and light coconut that became more noticeable as the glass warmed. It finishes with a dose of cardamom and pepper. It has a spicy, peppery after taste. For a big Stout, it's fairly light in body with pleasant carbonation. The 11% ABV is quite potent. I found that it crept up on me quickly. Overall, this is a fine Imperial Stout. I may review this again once the cans age.
