NO CANNING DATE
L: Creamsicle, light head.. very little lacing.
S: Orange, citrus based. A nice light to medium dank aroma.
T: Citrus up front, lots of different hop flavoring. Sharp, a tad malty.. but tasty.
F: Light to Medium .. carbonated with mild bitterness. Smooth on the back side.
O: The MF was the best thing going on. A good beer.. I'm wondering if it might be better, since I have no idea how old it is.

Tons of pine, resin, bitter hops. While it is good it is a bit strong and not my favorite of their IPA's as the bitterness just slams you in the face,

L - turbid dull, dirty orange. Pop rocks-sounding head. Let's do this.

S - grapefruit rind and bready pith. Blueberry and honey. Berries, berries, berries. Oh, and onions.

T - wow, did not expect this level of earthiness. This is practically dirt with a side of crabgrass. Of course not a bad thing because you get all the deliciousness of dirt with none of the grit! Pink grapefruit juice provides some real flavor along with plenty of its rind. Sugary and peppery. Lots of mosaic dough. Peanut butter?

F - medium body with a nice upbeat feel to it. Low carbonation that prickles with the pepper.

O - kind of a weird one. Very raw and natural, something Magnify certainly does well. Lacks flavor depth beyond the overall "vibe" of the beer. Would love to see a DDH version of this.

First of all, this was the perfect day for this beer to be released: 90+ degree temps and high humidity. While I was drinking it at the brewery the power went out. It was a 14 oz. pour. A murky, brown-gold-orange color with a thin, milk-white head and a creaming sheen of lacing. Its nose includes lemon, lime, onion, light pine, and soft hops. The taste opens quite tart with lots of lemon and grapefruit but the spelt balances with a strong dose of wheat cracker. The bill of Mosaic, Galaxy, and Ella hops provides a bitter bite. There are pepper notes and a slight astringency at the finish and the after taste is quite bitter. This ale is medium-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, and the 6% ABV allows for easy drinking. Overall, despite its moderate ABV this is a fairly big IPA with bold tastes of tart citrus and a strong hop bite. There's nothing mellow about Too Hot to Touch!
