I got a 16oz can of this in a trade with a good buddy of mine, Lance... Time to partake!

Poured most into one of my large Smutty snifter... It's hazy, with a bright, flat yellow color. Has hardly any carbo within, and the head is white, fine and creamy. There's some lace here and there, though not a lot. Smell is of ripe grapefruit and pineapple along with some lemon-peel. The body is nicely medium, and the prickle factor is low, ensuring a smooth passage over the tongue.

Taste has a bit of crackery, bready malt with a hint of sweetness before the hops take hold. It's an interesting blend of flavors, with some green apple, lemon-lime, and tropical fruit. The finish is quite nice, with a touch of bitterness mixing in with the solid fruity character. Very nice brew! Prosit!!

Some nice lemon and citrus to it, and pretty easy to drink considering 8%. I liked a lot of their other IPA's better so probably wouldn't get this again but a decent beer.

Should rename this movie theater popcorn. Nice, odd taste, but not overpowering. Overall good beer.

14 oz. pour on draught at the brewery on release day. It pours a turbid, golden-brown color with a foamy, milk-white head and spotty lacing. I suspect the pour would look better from a can. The nose is rather subdued; mostly lemon, lime, a whiff of grapefruit, and pine and floral hops. The taste opens with citrus: tart lemon and grapefruit, followed by an interesting earth cracker flavor. It's not easy to describe. There follows a very flavorful blend of Waimea, Motueka, and Calypso hops that is bitter but without a strong bite. There is a bit of astringency/yeast burn at the finish but it's nonetheless really tasty! It's feel is lite and crisp with moderate carbonation, and at 8% ABV it's a surprisingly easy drinker. Overall, this is a highly enjoyable DIPA with an unusual, and highly tasty, hop bill.
