Fantastic Stout, pours jet black with nice foamy head. Thick and full of flavor. Let it warm a bit to get all the flavors. Very complex beer, nuts and cheeries with subtle coffee n chocolate. Wonderful brew

Reviewed on release day. Poured from 16 oz. can into Magnify stemless glass. It pours a very dark walnut with a foamy, medium mocha-colored head that dissipated quickly leaving a thin film of lacing inside the glass. The fragrant nose features roasted malt, milk chocolate, freshly-brewed coffee, nuts, and a whiff of cherry. This is outstanding! It opens with milk chocolate, coconut, freshly-brewed coffee, ripe cherry, and hazelnut. All of the tastes are distinct yet subtle, and they blend really well. There is little bitterness at the finish. The feel is moderately thick and viscous although not as much as some of Magnify's big stouts. The carbonation is pleasant and it drinks below its 11% ABV. Overall, Through the Use of Technology is very good. For a brewery that pumps out IPAs and DIPAs weekly, Magnify is really adept at brewing excellent Imperial Stouts.
