4K is a new high definition 10% Triple IPA. This beer is a mash up between our luxurious Triple IPA series and Pixilated IPA that we released last week. We took a very similar base beer to Reserved and our other luxurious TIPAs and used the same, but amplified hop bill (Galaxy and Rakau) as Pixilated. We then fermented this beer with a blend of a few different hazy/juicy yeast strains.

16 oz can poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden orange with a two finger white head.
S- Grapefruits, dank, some tropical fruits, some hints of stone fruits.
T- Citrus, grapefruit, some tropical fruits, piney, dank, touch of earthy hops.
M- Smooth, medium body.
O- It might look like a NEIPA, but this has a great big bitter finish like a lot of great IPAs use to have.

One of the smoothest and juiciest triple IPA’s I’ve tasted.

Many thanks to DEdesings57 for this can.
A - Opaque orange tan color that looks like the first run of an all grain home brew (pretty much the same appearance as every New England IPA out there). Nice thick bright white lacing that's incredibly sticky on the sides of the glass.
S - Dank tropical fruit aroma - lemon, tangerine / nectarine, some spicy fruit rind, apricot, and mango.
T - Dank fruit from start to finish and ends with some spicy garlic that builds in intensity after the sip. Tangerine, lemon, apricot, mango, pineapple, and spicy peach. Finish is balanced and leans more towards a sweeter finish than bitter.
M - Thick and a little chewy and also creates a somewhat cotton / gravel-like sensation inside the mouth.
O - Magnify has the IPA thing down pretty well and this is no exception.

Reviewed on the day after release. It pours a turbid, dirty gold color with a half finger of creamy, bright white head and a thin sheen of creamy lacing. The fragrant nose features lemon, lime, tangerine, onion, and light but floral hops. It opens creamy and decidedly bitter. The tastes include lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, onion, a hint of vanilla/lactose, and a flavorful and bitter blend of Galaxy and Rakau hops. There is tart fruit, creamy sweetness, and bitter hops, all at the same time. The combination is just terrific! This ale is super creamy and viscous with moderate carbonation, and its elevated 10% ABV is noticeable but not distracting. Overall, this is a big IPA for sure but a very good one. The flavors are dense but thoroughly enjoyable. I don't know where Magnify is going with this series of TIPAs but I can't imagine they can add much more flavor and mouth feel.
