HUGE is a new 8.5% Imperial IPA and our next exploration into hopping during fermentation. We fermented HUGE on a heavy dose of steam distilled Cascade hop oil and then double dry hopped it with Citra, Vic Secret, Eureka! and Cashmere. Go big or go home.

L-Clear, honey colored, 1/2 inch head that quickly settles into a whitecap, medium lacing
S-Ripe melon, juicy fruit, sweet malts, some oniony notes
T-Sweet malt, with some fruity, citrus hops.........slight bitterness on the backend
F-less than medium, slight fizz from the carbonation,

Canned on 3/11/2019. Poured into a Magnify tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, golden-honey color with orange hues, and a half finger of fluffy, bright white head and spotty, soapy lacing. On the nose there is tart lemon, grapefruit, and scallion with subdued but fragrant floral hops. It's surprisingly lite and the taste opens with bitter, tart citrus. There is no sweetness. There is also subtle, resinous pine needles. It's also quite dank. The complex bill of Cascade hop oil and Citra, Vic Secret, Eureka! and Cashmere hops is highly flavorful and decidedly bitter. This is a hop lovers beer for sure. For a big IPA it's very lite and crisp with pleasant carbonation, and the 8.5% ABV gives it a nice kick. Overall, HUGE is a big beer and a perfect antidote for anyone who thinks Magnify only brews hazy IPAs. This is really good!
